About Individual Therapy
Whether you’re dealing with changes (voluntary or involuntary, expected or sudden) related to your health, relationships, career, family, financial status, social communities or anything else, one-on-one therapy can be a good way to engage in constructive and confidential conversations about how to handle what you’re going through.
Individual therapy can help you work through issues that may be upsetting or interfering with your ability to function effectively. It can help you develop healthier, more effective ways of dealing with change and challenges.
Therapy cannot change your circumstances or resolve your problems, but it can give you the tools needed to manage your response to those circumstances, manage your
emotions, and cope more effectively.
My training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS), and Mindfulness- Based theorv (MBCBT) allows me to use a wide variety of research-based approaches that could help you achieve your therapy goals. Individual therapy can be short or long- term depending on your needs and situation.

My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental. I’m here to help vou identify where you are and where you want to be, and then work with you to create the steps needed to handle any immediate challenges and prepare for future steps forward.
While my interactions with you are always supportive and encouraging, I stay focused on your goals and desired outcomes. If you are wanting to improve the quality of your life or experience more satisfaction with the choices you make, individual therapy can facilitate that process.
I understand that while we share many things in common, everyone’s life is unique. Everyone’s response to life’s opportunities, detours, transitions, and events is also unique. My goal is to get to know you and your unique narrative and to work as your
partner for positive change.
